Maintenance Technician – Ascent at Mallard Creek

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the Ascent at Mallard Creek community in Charlotte, NC. The role is responsible for ensuring that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing and repairing defects in accordance with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment to minimise downtime.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for new leasing, including cleaning, repairs and final inspections.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours emergencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building or property maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to safety and compliance with local codes.
• Flexibility to work Monday‑Friday with rotating on‑call duties.
