Maintenance Technician – ACS Locations (Houston)

About the role

Corpcare Services Inc. is seeking dependable, skilled, and safety‑minded Maintenance Technicians to support facility upkeep for American Cancer Society locations in Houston, Dallas, and Lubbock, Texas. In this role you will perform general maintenance, minor repairs, facility inspections, and ensure a clean, safe, and operational environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs such as plumbing, electrical, flooring, fixtures, painting, etc.
• Conduct facility inspections and ensure areas are safe and in proper working order.
• Replace light bulbs, air filters, and minor building components as needed.
• Monitor and report facility issues that require escalation.
• Assist with occasional equipment setup or breakdown for events or facility use.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area and comply with safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience, preferably in commercial facilities.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and light HVAC repair.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
• Reliable, professional, detail‑oriented and a non‑smoker.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
