Maintenance Supervisor – Southhaven Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the Southhaven community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of make‑ready processes and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee the make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, task completion and final inspection.
• Develop and maintain standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, collaborating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budget.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and execute repairs according to established policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Capability to develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for community areas.
• Experience inspecting work performed by internal staff and external vendors, and creating corrective action plans when needed.
