Maintenance Supervisor – San Francisco

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead technical and mechanical work across its San Francisco community. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and upkeep of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with policies, quality standards, and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager on ordering needs.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of related maintenance experience in a residential or commercial setting.
• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday with on‑call availability.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
