Loader Supervisor – Outbound Operations

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking an Outbound Operations Supervisor for its Talmo, GA Service Center. The Loader Supervisor will oversee dock and dispatch activities, managing drivers and freight handlers to ensure efficient LTL load handling. This full‑time position offers a salary range of $75,000‑$82,000 based on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage drivers and freight handlers, coordinating schedules for dock operations.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to quality freight‑handling procedures.
• Dispatch LTL loads in a timely manner.
• Oversee dock operations and driver/freight‑handler scheduling.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Service Center Manager.

Required profile

• Proven basic leadership experience, preferably in LTL operations.
• Ability to lead in a fast‑paced environment with strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling and local area routes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
