About the role
We are seeking a Maintenance Shop Foreman to lead our service center in Gainesville, GA. The role involves overseeing preventative and day‑to‑day maintenance of heavy‑duty tractors, trucks and forklifts, while ensuring smooth administrative operations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventative and day‑to‑day maintenance and repair on heavy‑duty tractors and forklifts.
- Carry out day‑to‑day administrative duties related to the shop.
- Execute all repairs and major repairs on trucks and forklifts.
Required profile
- Mandatory experience with trucks, forklifts and dry‑van trailers.
- Proven experience with air brakes, clutches, electrical systems, lift‑gates and overhead door repair.
- 3 to 5 years of experience maintaining tractor/trailers, including diesel engines and electrical components.
- Mechanic background is a plus.
- Managerial experience is a plus.
- Must own personal tools.
