Line Cook

About the role

The Dynamo Room, a new steakhouse in Manhattan’s Penn Station District, is seeking a Line Cook to join its opening team. You will work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume kitchen, preparing menu items to the standards set by the chef and ensuring consistent quality and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare menu items following recipes, yield guides, and plating standards.
• Restock ingredients and supplies during the shift to maintain workflow.
• Maintain strict sanitation and safety standards throughout the kitchen.
• Inspect and organize workstations, correcting any deficiencies promptly.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience as a cook in a high‑volume restaurant.
• Culinary Arts degree preferred.
• NYC Food Protection Certificate (Food Handler’s) required.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods.
