About the role

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join its on‑site health team at a U.S. military medical facility in Okinawa, Japan. The role provides comprehensive social work services to both inpatient and outpatient populations, supporting service members, their families, and civilians.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect social work services, including individual, group, couples, and family counseling.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs, resources, and community support.
• Develop and implement discharge plans, follow‑up care, and coordinate transfers to other health facilities.
• Provide consultation to medical, nursing, and ancillary staff on psychosocial issues and care planning.
• Offer crisis intervention and emergency preparedness participation.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborations with civilian health and social service agencies.
• Present educational lectures and programs to military and community audiences.
• Engage in peer review, performance improvement, and family advocacy initiatives.

Required profile

• Current, active LCSW license.
• Experience providing social work services in a healthcare or military setting.
• Ability to assess, counsel, and develop care plans for diverse patient populations.
• Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to participate in emergency drills and community outreach.
