About the role
The Sanctuary community in Thousand Oaks is seeking a Leasing Professional to drive occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction. You will be the first point of contact for prospective renters, guide them through the leasing process and support existing residents throughout their lease term.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospects, conduct property tours and showcase available apartments.
- Process applications, run credit checks and prepare lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate leasing records in the property management system.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement leasing and renewal strategies.
- Provide ongoing resident support to encourage lease renewals and high retention rates.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of leasing experience, preferably in affordable‑housing or lease‑up environments.
- Availability to work weekends as needed.
- Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
Required skills
- Proficiency with leasing software such as Funnel.
- Experience using Yardi or other CRM platforms.
