Leasing Professional – Seasonal (Canyon Park)

About the role

We are looking for a Leasing Professional to join the Canyon Park community in Tallahassee. This temporary, seasonal role will support marketing, leasing and renewal activities to meet occupancy and revenue targets while ensuring resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, including credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and coordinate smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before occupancy, confirm move‑in readiness and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Maintain accurate records of unit availability, prospect data and leasing activity using on‑site property management software.

Required profile

• Availability to work Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends.
• Ability to perform all leasing duties in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Experience using internet marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
