About the role
Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to join its New York City team. In this role you will drive community occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction by managing all aspects of the leasing process from prospecting to move‑in.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct community tours, and showcase available apartments.
- Process leasing applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks.
- Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and ensure a smooth signing and move‑in experience.
- Inspect apartments prior to resident move‑in to confirm readiness and condition.
- Maintain resident satisfaction throughout the lease term and secure lease renewals.
- Achieve community occupancy and revenue targets.
Required profile
- Demonstrated ability to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
- Experience conducting tours, qualifying prospects, and handling lease documentation.
- Attention to detail in apartment inspections and move‑in preparation.
- Strong customer‑service orientation to ensure resident satisfaction.
