Leasing Professional – Mid‑Rise Property (Renza)

About the role

The Leasing Professional will lead marketing, leasing and renewal activities for the Renza community, a 334‑unit mid‑rise property in Charlotte, NC. You will be responsible for driving occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and ensure a smooth resident move‑in experience.
• Inspect units before occupancy and coordinate any necessary maintenance to deliver move‑in ready apartments.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Maintain accurate data in the on‑site property management system (OneSite, Yardi), tracking availability, prospect activity and demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage prospective residents.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease documentation and unit inspections.
• Ability to analyze market data and adjust leasing strategies accordingly.
• Effective communication skills for both in‑person interactions and digital marketing efforts.

Required skills

• Experience using property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency with online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
• Basic knowledge of credit screening and background check processes.
