Leasing Professional – Mid‑Rise Lease‑Up

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive marketing, leasing and renewal activities for a mid‑rise, lease‑up community of 244 units. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue and resident‑retention targets while delivering a high‑quality leasing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain resident and prospect data.

Required profile

• Experience in leasing, sales or property‑management environments.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to guide prospects through the leasing process.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics and competitive positioning.
• Ability to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
