Leasing Professional (Lease‑up) – The Stacks

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to lead lease‑up activities for The Stacks community. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction through proactive marketing, leasing and renewal efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments and process applications.
• Perform credit screening, criminal background checks and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any outstanding items with maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing activities such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit quality standards through daily inspections.

Required profile

• Strong sales and customer‑service orientation with a proven ability to close leases.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with prospects and residents.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of local rental market trends and competitor activity.
