Leasing Professional for La Maison River Oaks

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for La Maison River Oaks by managing all leasing activities, from prospecting to move‑in and lease renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any outstanding maintenance items, and ensure units are move‑in ready.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and implement concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other platforms.
• Use on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit quality by daily inspections and coordinating with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to greet, qualify, and guide prospective residents.
• Detail‑oriented approach to application processing, lease preparation, and apartment inspections.
• Ability to stay informed about local market trends and adjust leasing strategies accordingly.
