Leasing Professional for Alexan Montview Plaza

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue and resident retention for Alexan Montview Plaza by managing all aspects of the leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in and lease renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.

Required profile

• Experience in residential leasing or property management.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to build rapport with prospects and residents.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics and competitive positioning.
• Detail‑oriented approach to application processing and unit inspections.
