About the role

The Labor Conciliator supports Illinois citizens in recovering unpaid wages and ensures compliance with state labor laws. This full‑time, union‑protected position is based in Chicago with a flexible hybrid schedule.

Key responsibilities

Assist individuals in filing claims and recovering unpaid wages under the Department’s labor statutes.
Interpret and apply Fair Labor Standards regulations to resolve disputes and provide guidance to the public.

Required profile

Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Willingness to work on‑site 4‑5 days per week, with a flexible schedule as needed.
