Junior Frontend Developer

About the role

Waybetter Marketing, a marketing agency focused on higher‑education enrollment, is looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to help build a student engagement hub. The role combines creative UI implementation with performance‑focused development in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop mobile‑first, student‑facing web pages for the engagement hub.
• Collaborate with AI coding tools to generate code suggestions and improve frontend performance.
• Translate UI/UX designs into technically feasible implementations.
• Optimize pages for speed, scalability, and maintainability.
• Create and maintain reusable, modular code libraries.
• Conduct QA testing to ensure visual fidelity and usability across devices and browsers.

Required profile

• Proven experience building dynamic, scalable web pages.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to pixel‑perfect, reusable code.
• Comfort working with AI‑powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
• Familiarity with Git version‑control workflows.
• Understanding of responsive, mobile‑first, and accessibility principles.
