DevOps Engineer

About the role

Synergy ECP is seeking an experienced DevOps / Systems Engineer to design, integrate, deploy, automate, and sustain complex mission‑critical and enterprise systems for U.S. intelligence and defense customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated infrastructure using Ansible or similar tools.
• Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or comparable platforms.
• Automate Linux server configuration and application deployments.
• Collaborate with development, test, and operations teams to ensure reliable system performance across all environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of DevOps engineering experience on programs of similar scope.
• U.S. citizenship with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
• IAM Level 1 certification.

Required skills

• Linux scripting and command‑line operations.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Infrastructure automation with Ansible (or similar).
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
