DevOps Engineer - Mid Level

About the role

We are looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer to join Sparksoft’s Agile team supporting government clients. You will design, automate and maintain cloud-native solutions on AWS, driving reliability and scalability across our platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible for AWS services.
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub and container technologies.
• Configure and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP LTM/APM, including load-balancing profiles and iRules.
• Participate in on-call rotation, applying patches, upgrades and continuity-of-operations activities.
• Produce and keep up-to-date architectural diagrams, runbooks and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to prototype new solutions and translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance and DevSecOps best practices.

Required profile

• Mid-level experience (3-5 years) in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, S3, Route 53, VPC, ELB/NLB and related automation.
• Proven ability to work in an Agile environment and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.
