IT Systems Administrator – North Miami (On‑Site)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on IT Systems Administrator to own day‑to‑day IT operations and help scale a fast‑growing organization. You will be the go‑to internal IT expert, supporting employees, improving systems, and partnering with external providers.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the internal help desk: ticket intake, prioritization, and resolution.
• Provide primary technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across Windows and macOS environments.
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade servers, workstations, and both cloud and on‑premise infrastructure.
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, and system updates; assist with infrastructure upgrades and build‑outs.
• Monitor network security, configure firewalls, routers, switches, and manage access controls.
• Manage user access, permissions, and overall system security; support internal security initiatives.
• Handle onboarding/off‑boarding processes, maintain IT asset inventory, and coordinate procurement.
• Evaluate, test, and implement new tools and technologies; document systems and configurations.
• Act as liaison with external IT service providers, coordinate support, and evaluate vendor performance.

Required profile

• 3–7+ years of experience in IT systems administration or related infrastructure roles.
• Strong experience with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration.
• Solid networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, WAN/LAN).
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and VMware.
• Hands‑on help‑desk and end‑user support experience; familiarity with MSPs is a plus.
