Internal Service Advisor – Automotive Service Department

About the role

Infiniti of Charlotte is seeking a motivated Internal Service Advisor to support its fast‑paced service department. The role serves as the communication hub between technicians, advisors, parts, and management, helping to keep the shop running efficiently and ensuring timely vehicle repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Open and manage internal repair orders.
• Dispatch work efficiently to technicians.
• Monitor shop progress and relay updates to advisors and management.
• Coordinate with the parts department to secure timely parts availability.
• Maintain accurate documentation and repair‑order notes.
• Assist with warranty and internal vehicle processing.
• Support quality control, vehicle status tracking, and technician productivity.

Required profile

• Previous automotive service experience preferred.
• Experience as a service advisor is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented attitude with keen attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with CDK software (preferred but not required).
• Basic understanding of automotive repair processes.
