About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello seeks an Instructor to teach English and related courses within the Arts and Humanities department. This non‑tenure‑track faculty position offers the opportunity to engage undergraduate students in a supportive, residential campus environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver undergraduate courses in English and related fields.
• Prepare syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic advising.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in English or a closely related discipline (Doctorate preferred).
• Collegiate teaching experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
