Information Security Analyst I – Healthcare

About the role

The Information Security Analyst I will support United Health Service’s mission to protect patient data and hospital systems. Working under senior security professionals, you will help monitor, detect, and remediate cyber threats in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize enterprise security solutions to ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Conduct routine vulnerability scans, security checks, and compliance audits.
• Analyze network traffic for anomalous behavior and potential threats.
• Develop and maintain security dashboards and actionable metrics.
• Assist in incident investigations, perform forensic analysis, and support containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
• Deploy, integrate, and configure new security tools in line with organizational standards.
• Support policy implementation, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery planning.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on risk assessments and maintain an up‑to‑date risk register.

Required profile

• Familiarity with information security standards and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Strong attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
