Industrial Maintenance Technician I – 3rd Shift (10 pm‑6 am)

About the role

Industrial Maintenance Technicians at Flowers Foods ensure that bakery production equipment runs efficiently and safely during the night shift. This full‑time, third‑shift position (10 pm‑6 am) involves both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across multiple areas of the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, and repairs on bakery machinery and conveyor systems.
• Identify mechanical wear, troubleshoot, and replace drive components and other mechanical parts.
• Use SAP to check out parts, record maintenance activities, and generate reports.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all company policies, including safety and compliance standards.
• Rotate among various bakery zones, adapting to different equipment and job assignments.
• Follow proper tool selection, safe work habits, and general shop practices.

Required profile

• Ability to climb fixed and portable ladders up to 20 feet and work in confined spaces.
• Physical capability to stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 lb.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to pursue ongoing technical training.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and company policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP for parts management and data entry.
