Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking a certified Service Technician to join our team at Classic Ford in Shelby, NC. The role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems in a clean, temperature‑controlled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repair order tasks efficiently and in line with dealership policies.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; conduct test drives.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional service needs.
• Complete online multi‑point inspection reports.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an auto technician.
• Comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to work as a team player.
• Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license.
