HVAC Instructor / Trainer

About the role

The trade school in Brockton, MA is seeking an experienced HVAC Instructor to deliver high‑quality, hands‑on training to students. This full‑time, on‑site position involves preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging HVAC coursework and practical labs.
• Prepare assignments, evaluate student performance, and maintain accurate records.
• Mentor students of all skill levels, providing guidance and feedback.
• Stay current with industry standards, licensing requirements, and teaching best practices.
• Participate in professional development, conferences, and specialty organization activities.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• GEDS‑1 or S‑2 licensing (or B‑2 and D‑2) required.
• Minimum three years of experience as an HVAC technician.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
