About the role

As a Guest Room Attendant at Springhill Suites in Gaithersburg, you will ensure each guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms to meet hotel standards.
• Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and beverages.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and promptly report damages or safety hazards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas to optimize workflow.
• Respond courteously to guest requests and inquiries, providing assistance or directing them to appropriate staff.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
