Help Desk Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Help Desk Specialist to join our Houston team. You will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues, providing timely support and ensuring a smooth IT experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for all technical inquiries and support requests.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Provide remote assistance to customers and guide them through troubleshooting steps.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT teams.
• Maintain accurate records of support tickets and resolutions.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and procedures.
• Communicate technical information to non‑technical users clearly and concisely.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective solutions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new technology and industry developments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Help Desk or technical support role.
• Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Experience working with Windows operating systems.
