Head of Compliance – Consumer Reporting Agency

About the role

SentiLink protects institutions and consumers by stopping fraud and verifying identities. As Head of Compliance you will design and own the company’s FCRA compliance program, lead consumer dispute processes, and serve as the primary compliance liaison for regulators and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build and own the entity’s FCRA compliance program from scratch, including policies, procedures, training, monitoring and testing.
• Manage end‑to‑end consumer relations: dispute intake, reinvestigation, disclosures, identity theft blocks and fraud alerts.
• Design and enforce permissible purpose controls, overseeing user onboarding, certification and recertification.
• Establish procedures to ensure data accuracy and monitor their effectiveness.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to automate dispute and disclosure workflows.
• Act as the compliance point of contact for client third‑party risk diligence and support regulator, state AG and litigation matters.
• Own consumer complaint handling across CFPB and state channels and feed insights back into processes and product.

Required profile

• 7+ years in consumer financial services compliance with hands‑on FCRA experience at a consumer reporting agency.
• Proven ability to build or substantially rebuild a compliance program.
• Direct experience operating a dispute and reinvestigation function, including turnaround management.
• Strong writing skills for policies, procedures and client diligence responses.
• Comfortable working as a solo function in an early‑stage environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States and residence in the United States.
