Growth Account Executive, AI Native

About the role

As a Growth Account Executive at Anthropic, you will lead expansion and retention for the company’s fastest‑growing startup customers, helping them unlock the transformative potential of safe, frontier AI. You will act as a trusted strategic advisor, guiding customers to broaden their AI use cases while ensuring they receive maximum value from Anthropic’s solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth through strategic account expansion and renewals.
• Own the full sales cycle for upsell opportunities while maintaining strong retention rates.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders across a portfolio of high‑growth startups.
• Lead strategic account planning, including Quarterly Business Reviews, health checks, and renewal negotiations.
• Partner with customers to identify new use cases and expand AI capabilities with Anthropic.
• Serve as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback to inform product roadmap.
• Develop and execute account strategies that align Anthropic’s solutions with customer business objectives.
• Proactively identify and mitigate retention risks while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in sales or account management with a proven track record of growing accounts and exceeding retention targets.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic business advisor, understanding startup needs and creating innovative solutions.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles, working with technical stakeholders, and negotiating strategic deals.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of building relationships from individual contributors to C‑level executives.
• Analytical approach to customer needs combined with creative solutions to drive expansion.
• Ability to bring order to chaos and a “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” mentality.
• Passion for emerging technologies such as AI and a commitment to safe, responsible development.
