Groundskeeper for La Maison River Oaks

About the role

Greystar is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of La Maison River Oaks community in Houston. You will ensure that all outdoor areas, amenities, and common spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings, and keep common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA and other required training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
