Grounds Worker – District Office (Full Benefits)

About the role

The District Office Grounds Department is seeking a reliable Grounds Worker to maintain campus grounds and operate related equipment on a full‑time basis. This position offers a stable schedule with full benefits and is ideal for candidates with a high school education and hands‑on experience in grounds maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and landscaping.
• Operate and maintain grounds‑keeping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with district safety policies and maintain a clean work environment.
• Drive district vehicles as required, maintaining a district‑insurable driving record.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in grounds work and equipment operation.
• Valid California driver’s license of the appropriate class.
• District‑insurable driving record.
• Pre‑employment TB clearance and fingerprinting (employee‑paid if hired).
• Preference given to internal candidates.
