Graduate Manufacturing Engineer I – 2-Year Development Programme

About the role

Airbus is launching a two-year Graduate Manufacturing Engineer I programme for recent engineering graduates. The role combines hands-on shop-floor engineering support with project work aimed at improving manufacturing processes across the aircraft production ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Support process improvement projects within the Manufacturing Engineering ecosystem.
• Perform daily Manufacturing Engineer tasks such as work order management, implementing process improvements to address non-conformities, and providing shop-floor engineering support to operations and quality.
• Develop proficiency in Airbus manufacturing engineering computer systems, including SAP Manufacturing Execution System, Zamiz, and document control tools.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or a related engineering discipline.
• 0-3 years of experience or recent graduation in engineering or manufacturing operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Motivation to work collaboratively and drive innovation.
