Global Platform Engineer – Sales CPQ PRO AMP

About the role

Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks a Senior Principal Platform Engineer to lead the global technical strategy for the Customer Experience Management (CXM) platform that supports Sales, Configure‑Price‑Quote (CPQ) and Professional Relations & Operations (PR&O). The position is based in Raritan, NJ and reports to product and business leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target architecture and multi‑year technical roadmap for the CXM platform, ensuring scalability, security, privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Design and deliver reusable APIs, services, integration patterns, SDKs and developer tooling across product pods.
• Establish engineering standards, governance and quality oversight for internal teams, contractors and strategic partners.
• Lead the technical approach for embedding AI and agent‑based capabilities into sales and CPQ workflows.
• Coach engineers, resolve cross‑team dependencies and communicate architecture decisions to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise‑scale digital products or platforms.
• 7+ years in a lead architect, principal engineer or platform engineering role with responsibility for technical strategy.
• Proven experience modernizing large‑scale platforms across multiple teams, regions or business units.
• Strong ability to influence product, engineering, security and senior leadership without direct authority.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, extensibility, integration and platform operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and integrations across Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Copilot, Copilot Studio).
• Hands‑on knowledge of modern engineering practices: Git, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containers, Kubernetes, automated testing and observability.
• Experience designing and implementing production AI solutions (LLM integration, agent orchestration, retrieval‑augmented generation, security and governance).
• Understanding of regulated, security‑focused enterprise environments and commercial processes such as sales, pricing and quoting.
