Global Packaging Production Artist (Fixed Term)

About the role

CooperVision, a leading manufacturer of soft contact lenses, is seeking a Global Packaging Production Artist on a fixed‑term basis. The role focuses on creating and delivering print‑ready packaging artwork for both global and regional markets, ensuring compliance with brand standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and update all global and regional packaging artworks, delivering print‑ready files for external vendors.
• Proofread artwork for accuracy, manage revisions, and resolve quality issues throughout the production process.
• Collaborate with the Packaging Coordinator, cross‑functional teams, and suppliers to meet timelines and regulatory guidelines.
• Inspect jobs for color standard approvals and advise on color set‑up when needed.
• Maintain artwork change management system and track project status using internal software.
• Occasionally work extended hours or overtime to meet department goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in print production or packaging graphics.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and file‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Macintosh operating systems.
• Familiarity with printing processes and color management.
• Understanding of Artios dieline format (.ARD) is a plus.
