Geospatial Team Leader

About the role

Woolpert is seeking a Geospatial Team Leader to guide a team of 15+ technical staff within its Aviation division. The role combines hands‑on technical work, quality assurance, and people management to deliver high‑quality geospatial deliverables for aviation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical work and QA/QC while overseeing the work of the geospatial team.
• Develop, refine, and enforce QA/QC standards and technical processes across projects.
• Mentor, coach, and manage team members, ensuring effective workload planning and resource utilization.
• Support client relationships, business development, and proposal budgeting.
• Coordinate with Aviation Regional Delivery, Survey Discipline, and Geospatial Sector on project strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience, preferably in the aviation sector.
• At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience.
