Geospatial Project Manager

About the role

Woolpert is seeking an experienced Geospatial Project Manager to lead its Aviation National team. The role focuses on delivering GIS, BIM, UAS, and mobile‑mapping solutions for airport infrastructure and regulatory programs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Aviation Geospatial Practice Lead and staff to achieve practice goals and grow the airport GIS program.
• Develop and support a pipeline of new and existing business opportunities, including partnerships with other aviation consultants.
• Lead project delivery, ensuring quality, client satisfaction, financial performance, and team well‑being.
• Manage metrics such as backlog, profit and loss, sales, utilization, and travel expenses.
• Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and conduct quality reviews of project documentation.
• Advise clients on innovative geospatial technologies to improve decision‑making.

Required profile

• Associate degree with 10+ years experience or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience in a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
• Willingness to travel to client sites, conferences, and Woolpert offices.
• Demonstrated ability to organize multiple priorities and adapt to industry changes.
