About the role
We are looking for a General Secretary to provide administrative support for Calusa Park Elementary. The role involves handling day‑to‑day office tasks, assisting staff and ensuring smooth communication within the school environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage front‑desk activities, greet visitors and answer phone calls.
- Maintain and organize school records, files and correspondence.
- Schedule appointments, meetings and coordinate calendars.
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing and document preparation.
- Assist with occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 pounds.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to two years of secretarial or related experience.
- Basic knowledge and skill in the use of a computer.
- Ability to lift or move items up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Required skills
- Computer operation (basic office software).
