Full‑Time Barista – Coffee & Customer Service

About the role

Join Restaurant Associates as a full‑time Barista at our flagship location in Midtown Manhattan. You will craft espresso‑based beverages, provide friendly service, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare coffee and espresso drinks, including latte art, using standard recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system and handle cash and card payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining a tidy service area.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling, portion control, and temperature maintenance.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and workstations throughout the shift.
• Greet customers courteously, address inquiries, and ensure a positive experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a barista in a café or catering environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting.
• Attention to detail and commitment to sanitation standards.
• Availability to work the scheduled hours: Monday‑Thursday 7:30 AM‑4:30 PM, Friday 7:30 AM‑3:30 PM.
