Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at The Springs at Lake Pointe Woods in Sarasota, Florida. The RN will provide high-quality, resident-centered care during the 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM shift, supporting long-term and rehabilitative residents.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for long-term and rehabilitation residents.
• Deliver direct patient care and monitor response to the plan of care.
• Supervise and direct care provided by nursing assistants and other support staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure proper set-up, maintenance and use of clinical equipment such as monitors, infusion pumps and drainage devices.

Required profile

• Current Florida RN license and compliance with the Nurse Practice Act.
• Successful completion of the Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening.
• Ability to work the 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM shift in an onsite, resident-focused environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with patient monitoring equipment.
• Experience operating infusion devices and drainage systems.
• Knowledge of electronic health record documentation.
