About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking full‑time Forklift Operators for its Kearny, NJ service center. The position offers an hourly rate of $26.54, a standard Monday‑Friday schedule with various shifts, and paid time off after the first 90 days.
Key responsibilities
- Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
- Read and follow shipping manifests.
- Interact with computer displays to track loads.
Required profile
- Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
- Basic familiarity with less‑than‑truckload (LTL) operations.
