Full-Time Barista

About the role

Join Restaurant Associates as a full‑time Barista, serving high‑quality coffee and espresso drinks to customers in a busy New York location. You will work closely with the team to ensure fast, friendly service while maintaining strict food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare espresso, coffee and related beverage orders using standard recipes and measurements.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system and handle cash or card payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages and supplies, keeping the service area clean and organized.
• Maintain proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures in line with HACCP guidelines.
• Sanitize equipment and workstations before and after shifts.
• Greet customers courteously, answer menu questions and address any concerns.

Required profile

• Prior experience working as a barista in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to follow recipes and food‑safety standards consistently.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and teamwork mindset.

Required skills

• Espresso machine operation.
• POS system usage for order entry and payment processing.
• Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
