About the role

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center‑Shreveport are seeking a Neuromuscular Specialist to join their Academic Neurology department. The position is full‑time, academic and offers leadership opportunities for qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality clinical care to patients with neurological conditions.
Educate medical students and neurology residents, supervising clinics, grand rounds and didactic conferences.
Participate in departmental activities and help grow the Neuromuscular program.
Mentor and provide clinical expertise to faculty and residents.

Required profile

Board certified or board eligible (BC/BE) in Neurology.
Eligible for a Louisiana medical license.
