Freelance Creative Translator & Transcreator – Spanish (Latin America)

About the role

Acclaro is looking for experienced freelance translators and transcreators to adapt marketing, entertainment and multimedia content for Spanish‑speaking audiences across Latin America. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the United States while collaborating with a global team of linguists and brand specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and creatively adapt marketing, entertainment and multimedia assets to resonate with local audiences.
• Collaborate with internal and linguistic teams to ensure high‑quality output across multiple platforms.
• Conduct cultural research to guarantee translations are culturally relevant, not just literal.
• Review and provide feedback on marketing projects to support their success.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Marketing, Linguistics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional translation and transcreation experience, preferably in a marketing context.
• Fluent in English and native‑speaker fluency in Spanish (Latin America) with excellent writing skills.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and ability to adapt tone and style to brand guidelines.
• Experience with entertainment content (TV series, movie synopses, title localization) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CAT tools is a plus.
