Founding Product Manager, Agents

About the role

Runlayer is building a platform that lets enterprises safely adopt AI agents, skills, and workflows. As the Founding Product Manager for Agents, you will own the end‑to‑end experience of creating, shipping, and scaling agents that power our customers’ growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for the agent builder and runtime, from discovery through launch.
• Drive growth metrics such as time‑to‑first‑working‑agent, Slack agent adoption, and self‑serve conversion.
• Collaborate with engineers weekly to prioritize, ship, and iterate on features.
• Design telemetry and product analytics that continuously improve agent performance.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years on developer tools, platforms, or automation products.
• Founder or early‑stage PM experience building product processes from scratch.
• Proven track record launching 0→1 builder or automation surfaces with product‑led growth.
• Customer‑obsessed mindset with hands‑on discovery experience.

Required skills

• Technical fluency: ability to read code and understand API/SDK design.
• Experience with agent frameworks, MCP, and tool orchestration.
• Strong written communication for clear PRDs.
• AI‑native: daily use of agents and strong opinions on their creation and improvement.
