Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

AiPrise is a YC‑backed compliance orchestration platform serving fintechs, marketplaces and payment companies worldwide. As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will work directly with our largest customers, understand their KYB and AML workflows, and deliver custom integrations that make our platform indispensable.

Key responsibilities

• Embed with key customers to analyse onboarding, KYB and compliance processes and translate pain points into technical solutions.
• Design, build and deploy customer‑specific integrations, API extensions and data pipelines, owning the full lifecycle from scoping to production.
• Debug production issues in real time and troubleshoot complex vendor integrations across 80+ providers.
• Feed customer insights back to the product team, identifying patterns that become platform features.
• Create reusable internal tooling, documentation and runbooks to accelerate future deployments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software engineering experience shipping production systems used by real users.
• Strong backend fundamentals and ability to work under pressure with ambiguous specifications.
• Comfortable interacting with senior compliance stakeholders and translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Bias toward action – you scope, build and iterate without waiting for perfect specs.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one modern language such as Python, Go, Java or Node.js.
• Experience building REST APIs, micro‑services and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
