Floating Leasing Manager – Greater San Francisco Bay Area

About the role

Manages and directs the community’s marketing, print and internet advertising, sales activities, leasing team members, and other resources to achieve established revenue, occupancy, resident retention, and leasing goals. The position oversees a stabilized, mid‑rise property of 600 units in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, with a schedule that includes Sundays and Mondays off. Candidates must have 1‑2 years of leasing experience and be comfortable traveling across South Bay, San Francisco, and East Bay.

Key responsibilities

• Direct marketing, advertising, and pricing strategies to meet revenue and occupancy targets.
• Monitor on‑site traffic, maintain an inventory of “ready” apartments, and generate leasing reports using company software.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure property appearance and safety, and create merchandising displays for units.
• Participate in the leasing process: qualify prospects, prepare lease documents, and manage move‑in procedures.
• Analyze financial and operational reports to identify performance issues and present findings to owners and managers.
• Oversee lease renewal programs and resident communication.
• Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate leasing team members.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of leasing or property management experience.
• Proficiency with Entrata property management software.
• Strong understanding of affordable‑housing programs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
