Fleet Support & Maintenance Coordinator – FMCSA Experience

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Fleet Support & Maintenance Coordinator to oversee safety and efficiency of a growing U.S. truck fleet. The role combines real‑time breakdown assistance, maintenance program management and load support, directly impacting operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Handle breakdowns and roadside assistance in real time, providing drivers with troubleshooting guidance.
• Coordinate repairs with shops, mechanics and vendors to reduce downtime and control costs.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs, ensure DOT inspections and FMCSA compliance, and maintain accurate repair records.
• Assist with load‑related operational issues, including cross‑dock coordination, weight adjustments and cargo securement.
• Use daily tools such as Fleetio, ClickUp, Datatruck and Samsara to track maintenance, tasks and equipment data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a U.S. trucking company in a non‑IT role.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA maintenance regulations and DOT inspection requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with diesel/semi‑truck diagnostics, repairs and coordinating with repair shops.
• Ability to manage real‑time breakdown situations and make quick decisions.
• Fluent English communication skills.
