Finish/Deburr Technician I – 3rd Shift

About the role

Moog is seeking a Finish/Deburr Technician I for the 3rd shift at its Buffalo, NY facility, supporting the Military Aircraft Group. The role involves removing burrs, sharp edges and surface imperfections from precision aerospace components to ensure they meet quality, safety and performance standards before inspection and assembly.

Key responsibilities

• Remove burrs, sharp edges and surface imperfections from machined parts.
• Inspect finished components for defects or irregularities that could affect performance.
• Prepare parts for the next production stage by cleaning and ensuring they are ready for inspection, assembly or shipment.
• Support product durability by ensuring proper finishing to prevent structural failures.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED (preferred) and ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Minimum 3 months experience in deburring or finishing within a machine‑shop environment.
• Eligibility to enroll in Moog’s FAA Drug & Alcohol Program for safety‑sensitive work.
